Chemie intensiv: The ITMC welcomes students for a day

As part of the "Chemistry Intensive" project week of the Bischöfliche Liebfrauenschule Eschweiler and the St. Leonhard Gymnasium Aachen, the ITMC gave the 13 participating students an insight into the ITMC for one day. The visit was organized and supervised by Ole Osterthun, Yannick Meiners and Carolin Schartmann from Prof. Jürgen Klankermayer's research group. In addition to insights into current research topics and a guided tour of the institute and pilot plant, the students were able to perform experiments themselves on the gas chromatograph and mass spectrometer and thus learn about important analytical methods as part of the project week.
