Research Area

The electrocatalytic conversion of biomass into alternative fuel additives and value-added products. Among others, methods are used like:

  • Electrocatalyst synthesis and coverage on electrodes
  • Investigation on the reaction impact coming from the applied potential, the pH, the electrolyte and so forth.
  • The implementation of new small electrolysis cells
  • All necessary analytical methods such as low and high field NMR, HPLC, TPR, BET and so forth.
