Overview on Research

This research focuses on the synthesis, characterization and catalytic study on the enzyme-inspired selenium-modified microgels. Different type of selenium crosslinkers and monomers will be synthesized and incorporated into the microgels. The incorporation of selenium crosslinkers or monomers into the microgelswill affect its physical and chemical properties which will determine the efficiency of the catalytic activity in homogeneous or heterogeneous liquid phase.
