Overview on Research

In my research I am focused on the development of new colloidal catalysts by the integration of metal complexes into microgels as catalyst carrier systems. The synthesis and characterization of catalytically active microgels and their investigation of their catalytic performance is in the foreground. The catalytic properties of the microgels depend on the distribution of the catalysts in the microgel system.

Research focus

  • Synthesis and characterization of responsive microgels modified with active ligands to complex Cu and Zn
  • Investigation of the catalytic performance of catalytically active microgels

Project

SFB 985 C6: Modular Colloidal Metal Complexes based on Responsive Microgels
