Overview on Research

My research focuses on the synthesis of covalent and supramolecular crosslinked microgels in batch and flow processes and their characterization. Another important part of my work is the investigation of the interactions between different natural polyphenols and amphiphilic polymers using isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). In addition, I am engaged in the production of microgel-functionalized, electrospun nanofibers. These materials find their application in the biomedical as well as in the agricultural sector.
