Biomass Valorization
Within the context of depleting fossil resources and climate change, the design of sustainable chemical processes is of particular importance in current research. Important factors herein are the utilization of biogenic platform chemicals and solvents as well as the retrenchment of waste. In this manner, our group is currently working on different projects dedicated to the conversion of biomass waste to chemical building blocks or potential fuel additives paving the way for a game-changing concept towards the conservation of resources.
